Missoula Intuition and Trance Exploration

Missoula Intuition, Trance Exploration

and Sacred Spaces

Join Deborah Milton and Patrick Marsolek in a weekend of personal transformation cultivating intuitive awareness, working with trance, and exploring the sacred landscape with intention. Would you like to open a connection to your own higher consciousness and access your own inner guidance and creativity? Would you like to learn intentional practices of personal transformation?

This class will start Friday night, July 15th at 7:00 PM and run until Sunday afternoon, the 17th.

Registration information below.

In this workshop, all of Deborah’s and Patrick’s knowledge of Ecstatic Trance Postures, group trance, creative expression, sensory awareness, intuitive skills, and dreamwork will be available to you.

The primary intention of this workshop is to set up a safe, comfortable container within which you can open a communication with your unconscious. With the group, you will explore sensory awareness and practical intuitive exercises, dreamwork, and different methods of accessing trance - all ways of accessing your own inner intelligence. Through this connection you can access higher consciousness potentials, such as intuition, inner spirit-guided insight and even healing. You will be shown how to begin validating the inner knowledge you are receiving by attending to it, expressing in verbally and creatively, and allowing it to move you.

Your personal exploration will be activated by working in a group setting. The energy of the group serves to heighten each person’s inner process. Your experience takes on added depth and meaning as it dovetails with the intentions of the group as a whole. Your own inner experiences may relate solely to you and your individual intent, but they also may relate to other individuals in the group or even the collective intention. Your own personal experiences also can communicate the intentions and energy of the specific sites we are visiting in the landscape. By sharing our transformation in a group and at a site, we all are enlarged and expanded, this includes the activation of the places we visit with our energy and awareness.

This workshop will incorporate the intentional use of trance. Trance occurs anytime we focus our awareness in such a way that our normal orientation to reality changes. In this sense we go in and out of trance every day, sometimes many times in a single day. For example, when we daydream or experience a strong emotion, we are in trance. This ability to shift our focus allows us to access different ways of knowing that are meaningful. We usually don’t pay attention to these day-to-day trances though, since they are an accepted, but unconscious part of who we are.

We can use trance intentionally though, for a wide variety of purposes. The linguistic roots of trance are connected to words like; passage, vision, to go over or across, and even to die. This is not a physical crossing over, but a release from normal consciousness. This release can be experienced as a passage or a journey, which is why this kind of trance work is often called journeying. Most indigenous cultures use some form of trance to get a clearer perspective and understanding of reality, which is more than can be contained in conscious awareness. With trance-drumming and the use of Ecstatic Trance Postures we are intentionally using the sound of the drum and specific body positions as entry points into a deeper, meaningful state of consciousness. The further we go into our intentional exploration of consciousness, the more we leave the limitations of our consensual thinking behind and enter into other ways of knowing.

Trance serves as the vehicle to manifest your intentions for self-knowledge, intuitive insight and personal healing. Writing down and communicating our thoughts, beliefs, and experiences while working with trance allows us to let go of the energy of our past. We communicate and we release. Not only does this allow us to be more present with ourselves, each other, and the energy we experience but this brings in an important intention of trance work - integrating these states with ‘normal’ states of consciousness. We don’t only seek to leave this normal consciousness, but we seek to transform and heal our normal lives through our experiences and understandings that come from trance.

This whole weekend is for your personal transformation. If you want to deeper your understanding of yourself, access your own inner, spirit-guided wisdom, and share in a meaningful group experience, come join us!

Some other thoughts about intuition...

You don’t need to be a ‘natural’ psychic to learn to use intuition in your life. Intuition is an innate human ability that everyone has. You may not be a ‘natural’ but you can learn. In this class you will learn Intuitive and heightened perception techniques, as well as various Remote Viewing protocols.

Why? All across the world, intuition is being used by people in real, practical ways. Some of these uses include: missing persons and police work, intuitive diagnosis of medical ailments and personal health problems, archaeologists using remote viewing techniques for site location and information gathering, mineral prospecting, stock market investments, business management for personnel, and even in jury selection.

This class will be a hands-on approach. Through in-class exercises you will experience and practice many different techniques for yourself. There are many ways of accessing intuition and you can learn what works best for you. We will also focus on techinques massage practitioners can utilize.

This class will also include theory and current research into awareness, consciousness, learning and perception. Students will have access to an extensive amount of research materials in the form of handouts, as well as books and tapes. The information you will learn in this class can bring intuition out of the clouds and down to the level of exciting and real possibilities.
