Blacktail Ranch

Blacktail ranch - June 2-5, 2005.

These dates have just been set. Stay tuned for details...

From last year...

In this extended field trip/workshop, we explore group intuitive awareness in connection with this magical landscape. The 8000 acre Blacktail ranch is situated on the South fork of the Dearborn river at the base of the continental divide. The Blacktail ranch is rich in archaeological history. Situated just off the prehistoric Old North trail migration route, it has a Dream Cave, Medicine Wheel, Sun Wheel, numerous tipi rings, and, of course, the cave. Blacktail cave is an extensive natural cavern that has revealed numerous archaeological discoveries, including evidence of Ice Age man and animals.

A primary component of this trip will be cultivating clear intention, both personally and for the group. The clarity of our purpose combined with the energy of the land serve to move us towards transformation and healing. With this intention, we will explore with sensory awareness, intuition and trance how we fit energetically into this active, ancient landscape. We will move from the sacred space of their beautiful eight-sided hogan to several different locations on the ranch, including an extended stay inside the cave. We will also explore focused group dreaming as an extension of our conscious intuitive and trance experiences. (Read more about the
intentions I have for all my field trips.)

Dinner Saturday night and breakfast and lunch on Sunday will be provided. Blacktail chefs provide fresh, wholesome cuisine from fresh baked goods to meat and eggs grown on the ranch. Vegetarian options are available.
Participants will camp in their own tents near the hogan.
