Smith River Transformational Weekend
This field trip has been scheduled for
Friday - Sunday
August 12th - 14th
Cost:
$220.
$240 After July 31st.
(Includes gourmet home-cooked meals and lodging.)
I'm excited to be offering a deeper exploration of my intuitive
transformational workshops at a private lodge in the Smith River
canyon. We will be cultivating group energy, intention, and
a larger, spirit-guided presence expressly for personal transformation.
This one is especially for you, your personal process, your
change and your healing. Of course, this will be a ‘hands-on’
workshop using the power of group awareness, intuitive abilities,
and trance, but the goal is to explore and manifest personal
dreams, goals, and healing.
Phyllis Lefohn and Kelly
Baraby will be adding the practices of Qigong and Ashtanga
Yoga as a compliment to each day’s activities. It is our
conscious intention to incorporate our physical and energetic
bodies into our explorations and healing. A strong foundation
in the physical, keeps us more balanced in our emotional and
mental spheres and allows us to move towards an embodied experience
of spirit.

Intentions
Our primary intent is to set up a safe, comfortable container
within which you can open a connection to deeper parts of your
own being and your unconscious. Through this connection you
can access higher potentials such as intuition, inner spirit-guided
insight and even healing. We begin by becoming aware what we
are experiencing inside our physical and energetic bodies, in
our minds, hearts, and spirits. As we learn to validate our
own inner awareness we come back into connection with our higher
selves. Writing down and communicating our thoughts, beliefs,
and experiences while working with states of heightened awareness
and trance allows us to release the energy of our past. When
we open to our inner experience with conscious intention and
communicate to others, the energy contained within us releases.
Not only does this allow us to be more present with ourselves,
each other, and the energy we experience, but we learn how to
integrate our inner wisdom and intelligence with everyday reality.
The goal is not simply to experience different
states of consciousness, but to transform and heal our everyday
lives through the experiences and understandings that come from
these energetic places and events. Within the group setting,
our personal exploration of intuition takes on a new dimensions.
Our personal energy combines with intent of the group and extends
further outwards into the sacred landscape. We heal ourselves
and we heal the world around us.

Even now, thinking about participating in one
of these events, you begin activating yourself at a deeper,
unconscious level. If the energy of this event resonates with
you, you can sense it. It attracts or fascinates you. In this
way the energy and spaces we engage with are not bound in time.
You may even sense the sacred cave we will visit during our
stay on the Smith. What do (did) you experience there? You can
sense these events outside of time, and move towards them with
fuller conscious intention in the present. Thinking of the meaningful
events that manifest in our lives, something reaches out and
touches us - a fascination, a lightness, a warmth in the heart,
even the presence of spirit. We are dreaming these experiences
into our lives.

And a little on yoga from Kelly...
Yoga - is defined as meaning
yoke or to join.
Asana - is a posture orpose, one of the 8 limbs of yoga, a path.
Asana - means “to sit” or “to be present.”
Asana - helps to maximize one’s potential, as a human
being by creating
a balanced state of physical, mental, and emotional health.
Asana induces steadiness of body and mind, diseaselessness,
and
lightness.
Asana helps to cultivate good qualities and overcome hurdles.
Emotionally , a proper practice increases self confidence, tolerance
for
those different than us, compassion for the sufferings of others
and
ourselves, capacity to withstand change, and appreciation of
life.
